If you live in Boca Raton and need help with drugs or alcohol, Allure Detox is a licensed medical detox and residential treatment center in West Palm Beach, about 30 miles north of Boca Raton on I-95. About half of our clients are local to South Florida, and many come from southern Palm Beach County.
This page explains what treatment at Allure looks like, from the first day of detox to the plan you leave with.
Medical Detox Comes First
Our medical detox program is the first step in recovery. During detox, your body clears the substance under medical supervision. Our medical team is on site 24 hours a day to keep you safe and as comfortable as possible, using medications to manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings.
Medical supervision matters most for alcohol and benzodiazepines, where withdrawal can be dangerous, and it makes opioid withdrawal far easier to get through.
Residential Treatment After Detox
After detox, many people continue into residential treatment at the same facility. This stage addresses the psychological, emotional, and social sides of addiction as well as the physical one.
Treatment includes several therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. These help you understand what drives your substance use, build healthier ways to cope, and lower the risk of relapse.
A Plan Built Around You
Every person’s path to recovery is different, so every treatment plan is too. We begin with a comprehensive assessment, then design a plan that fits your health, your history, and your goals.
Planning for Life After Treatment
Recovery doesn’t end with detox and residential care. Before you leave Allure Detox, we build your aftercare plan with you, including relapse prevention strategies and connections to community resources near Boca Raton.
When a partial hospitalization or outpatient program is the right next step, our team arranges it before you leave, often through our sister facilities in the Recreate Behavioral Health Network, which include a location in Boca Raton.
Getting to Allure Detox from Boca Raton
Our facility is in West Palm Beach, a straight drive north on I-95. That is close enough for family to visit and take part in therapy, and far enough to give you some distance from the people and places tied to your use. Our admissions team can help coordinate travel.
Insurance Coverage
Allure Detox works with many major U.S. health insurance plans, so your insurance may cover part or all of a medically supervised detox. We are not able to accept Medicaid or Medicare at this time. See our accepted insurances page for the plans we work with most often.
